"We went for 6 months with another realtor without a single offer in a very hot market. No suggestions were given to make our home more attractive to buyers, the usual reply was that your home is just fine the way it is. E-mails would go for weeks before they would send a copy of an ad that was a few weeks old, and there was no reply to our questions. We felt completely cut off from the market and upset because homes were selling like hot-cakes. Four months into the six-month contract I told them we wished to break the contract due to their poor performance; they put another agent in charge of our home. He was of great help in pointing out things to do to make the house more appealing, he answered every question promptly. We had our first offer in just two weeks and had a number of offers after that". Thanks to Chip, we?ve sold our house, got our asking price, and are happily retired in Maine. He?s our friend".
